Honest wealth is fine.
But there is a distinction between honest wealth and incompetent rich.

=====

When I criticize a certain kind of wealthy, I am not referring to “honest hard work”, “smarts”, etc. That kind of wealth creation is fine.

Not all wealthy people are like that.

=====

An analogy is to cops. I occasionally also criticize a certain kind of cop and it’s in a negative light.

But I’m not referring to all cops. Good cops are good. Smart cops are smart. But just because some are good, it doesn’t mean all are, nor just because some are bad doesn’t mean all are bad.
