No civil war is coming. No apocalypse. Just a lot of bickering that escalated from its normal range.
“It’s everybody’s fault” shirks responsibilities. Track and trace, look at actual words and actions. Smudging it all together blurs the image. Looking at facts is awkward but honest.
“Ever growing polarity” hints at future civil war. I hear that a lot from people who are convinced it’s inevitable. That’s what I was touching on with that.
“Both parties have done wrong” I addressed with “shirking responsibilities”. I bring that up because saying “everybody is partly to blame” is a common response that is used to avoid doing the hard work of tracking culpibility.
