Stay strong. I’ve been lucky as I never really got a huge taste for alcohol. Went through a social beer stage… and a social pot stage. I discovered I liked mild whiskey but I probably have a drink three or four times a year. A beer, glass of wine or a shot or two or something.
Nicotine is my addiction as well as coffee…. but mostly online socializing and “being creative”.
actually wait no.. not learning… but comprehending systems.
Never got a taste for Jager. I’d drink it socially, and there _was_ an interesting drink involving Jager and something else that’s escaping me that I didn’t mind.
My favorite though, was Cognac. Only had it a few times in my life but I really liked it. I suppose it was like flavored rubbing alcohol really, but I still liked it.
Yeah, replacement addictions. I did that once with smoking. Started working out. Got obsessed with working out. High protein, pooping out rocks ’til I discovered pears to add to Atkins diet. Vitamin research like crazy. Learned a lot though that’s still useful today.
