I received 6-6-6 training as a kid
Breath in for 6, hold for 6, exhale for 6
Part of biofeedback which they now would call neurofeedback
I was also hooked up to little devices that would make noises and I had to calm down my limbic system in order to change the tones they made
I think I had to control a little video game with my emotions and I got to watch little things move depending on how I relaxed or stressed I felt
I don’t know, I was 11
But I’ve been using these techniques for the last 40 years and they work
I probably could have been on medicine or drugs instead but so far good
