Yes. it’s like discerning the nature of impetus; objectivist viewpoints of reality can’t find the impetus if the impetus can’t be pinned down by objective measurement.

Inertia. I always found Newton’s original more interesting than Science’s later on. Newton discriminated between internal and external, but physics lumped them together and they only consider the outer possibility.
