New is a sensory overload for me unless I can connect it to SOMETHING. So, I got good at quickly reasoning through until I can find common ground between “new” and “knowledge”, however small, via metaphor/analogy. Thankfully, MOST things can be connected SOMEHOW, so I don’t usually get sensory overload much. But it’s awful when it happens and scary.

Really? I should go through the threads. I just posted my first thoughts. Cool! I’ve been doing conscious things to improve weak spots for 24 yrs now. For extroversion, for example, I made 15000 Vines. I got used to seeing and hearing myself and all the weird ways my facial muscles move. Now I can look people in the eyes a little more easily and with more confidence.

Stuff like that.

bsolutely pisses me off too. Here we got this thing we’re on, internet. No excuses not to compare/contrast work on a better world and STILL people stick with compartmentaliations… “leaders” just use it to boast…
