I was raised on loading files with cassette and diskette and logging into networks. when I got my first hard drive with “folders”… …I didn’t understand it and I couldn’t work with it properly. 30+ years later and I still can’t work a directory structure properly. The only hierarchy I understand is dewey decimal system. I understand networks and diskettes. hierarchy to me is ancient and was always a stopgap measure
