n illusion – but a great one.

oh, whoops – didn’t finish my 1st thought – since the spaces between things is empty (the space between a nucleus and its electrons is HUGE – like a golfball in the middle of the football field) – everything is basically, well, empty. We’re held together by forces between things – solid isn’t as solid as we think – we’re like billions upon billions of little balls of ENERGY that are stuck togethe…r like tiny magnetic balls might be, moving in concert with each other to give the illusion of solidity. it’s the sheer amount of them that keeps us together – but we could just as easily break apart. it’s like the illusion of “smooth” – use a strong enough magnifying glass and nothing is smooth at all. just an illusion – but a great one. “
