n a generic sense, that’s true. If I had a limited sources of information, I would be desperate for ANYTHING and I would take it and sort it out from there. However, this is a case where we have EXCESS information and we can afford to be choosy. But if all I had was Russian Times, then I’d certainly use it.

In order:
a) I don’t find Seattle’s situation that interesting.
b) Fox news got caught photoshopping AR-15s on occupants, poorly too. They apologized.
c) RT was a trusted source of information for me for over a decade until Aleppo and a series of significant changes.
d) RT’s headline reports AR-15s just like Fox news did but Fox got caught lying and apologized for lying.
e) Therefore, I have no logical reason to go beyond the headline in this particular instance.

Maybe next article I’ll give it a look.

MAYBE this article has NOTHING to do with four day old news about Fox photoshopping AR-15s.

Maybe this is TOTALLY different. But due to my overall lack of interest and similarity via the headline, it’s more interesting to talk with you guys than to read the article.

MAYBE you can assume the person you’re talking to MIGHT have a little intelligence instead of assuming they’re not all that bright or rational. I don’t think that’s too much to ask, considering we’ve corresponded on here before.I’m sure you can do better than a knee-jerk response.

They lost me at Aleppo. I tracked them carefully for about six months from the Aleppo situation. It really bothered me that my three favorite news organizations had three TOTALLY different ways of looking at precisely the same situation.

It was painful to detangle and I started spotting odd patterns that I didn’t like in RT in how they reported certain American news. This is back in 2015ish – I was complaining about it on my Facebook at the time, a bit pissed off at all of them really but particularly RT because up until then I had no complaints.

In the end, I had to scrap my 3-news-source thing I’d done for years, RT, CSM, Al-Jazeera and instead I try to find local sources whenever possible.

I have no reason to think that RT’s got reporters in the zone or nearby so whatever they say is likely hearsay or outside at the very least.

Mars could report on Seattle too and I’d have no reason to think they’d be more realiable than SeattleTimes or something physically nearby.
