My when he was 6 was taken to a psychologist for an evaluation (he was talking to himself I guess) and the psychologist asked my cousins a few questions about my ne’s “imaginary friend named Kenny”, whether he talks about Kenny a lot at home and such.
They laughed. “Oh no, Kenny’s real. He lives at the house”. The psychologist was stunned.
Was this story they told me true? I don’t know but he never went to a psychologist again.
I’ll just say: if you EVER have the opportunity to be an imaginary friend, do it.
