My troubles made me sympathetic for life about the problems of lack of autonomy for kids and I became a huge internet advocate from 1989-today, looking forward to where kids could get online and have SOME kind of autonomy away from parents and schools and be able to meet amongst themselves online, which now they can. Far from perfect, lots of problems, supervisory issues galore, and with it many of the problems that come with liberties, but overall, they’re able to have least some opportunity to find their own away amongst the barrage of odd weird stuff that the adult world is always throwing at them.
