Lol it’s ok ☺️ now I know I’m glad I didn’t start watching – as a boy, Sagan had that effect on me and I knew the big teddy bear would do the same. My project, going on 2 1/2 years now – is trying to discover what I already think and believe – and I’ve learned a lot about cognitive structures, limitations of fact and shared belief, The dangers of metaphor and excessive agreement among humans. Doing this has required me to strip away a lot of myself and much of it is been uncomfortable and continues to be. I’ve had to and continue to scrutinize all of my heroes – after first finding out who they were and are – discovering the fatal flaws while keeping what remains true enough. I don’t have a guidebook for the process but I’m building it as I proceed. I don’t know what it is and will be – or if it’s even applicable to anybody else, but it’s been quite engaging so far. Every time I talk to somebody it’s a part of this discovery process – including this conversation – and every one. So, that’s where I’m at.
