My issue with panpsychism is it’s _too_ reductionist. It’s why I can’t endorse monism and endorse pluralism instead. The problem with monism is: “The Universe is Made of Math” is the same as “The Universe is made of Consciousness bits” the same as “The Universe is made of minecraft blocks”. You’d be able to exchange one for the other because..they’re..all..the…same…TYPE. We need multiple types – a pluralistic ontology (or ontological pluralism – whatever) Now, there maybe some underlying “same” of some kind but it would have to be one HELL OF a hybrid concept that incorporates .. all of it and, well, I doubt it’s something we could begin to conceive because it simply has to do more than an axiomic system can provide.
