my issue is an inability to ignore. You have to be able to ignore a whole bunch of stuff to achieve such things. There’s so much input, internal and external simultaneously, being aware of all of it all of the time (except when hyperfocused) is a lot to take in. I’m hyperaware of experiencing the passing of events in time while it’s passing; that is, it’s like a meteor shower but there’s as many meteors inside of the ship as outside. So working with that chaos internal and apparent external, how to stay centered without having to ignore all of it? Well, you have to work with it as best you can, feel where you fit in it all and find a balance between assertion and acceptance. What’s nice about hyperfocus by contrast is I can conserve my energy and refocus it on whatever the hyperfocus is on. The rest of the time, it’s trying to achieve a homestasis with the environments external and internal
