My first version was the Peter Davidson titles. I was “ok” with the Tom Baker titles when I’d see them although they seemed a little fuzzy and I liked 1-3. I thought Colin Baker’s ruined Peter Davidson’s Titles and I didn’t like Sylvester McCoy’s titles _at all_ – particularly the theme – but the graphics looked like cheesy graphics in 1987 – it was as if they trimmed down the budget to nothing and this was thrown together. I didn’t actually know that it was a technical achievement at the time but having been raised with Star Wars quality graphics, anything less looked “straight to video” But I was harsh during his reign. I’d suffered through several BBC “breaks” from Dr. Who, and grew critical as a teenager. I’d no idea they were going to pause it for 15 years though. That put things in perspective.
