My biggest gripe with spreadsheets is that they need to make renaming cells a regular thing so that you can reference them as variables when needed instead of only by location. I mean you can do ranges and I think you can name single cells as well, but it’s almost ‘tacked on’. Like this silly thing I did last night would have been easier if I could have named each of the cells by the variables they represented. But no, I had to do it by location. Which is fine and is a spreadsheet’s power, but it’s also a drawback.
