My analytical process is conversational

Everybody gets to experience my analytical process in real time. My analytical process is conversational : the way I think in my head or by myself is quick but thorough because I have the totality of the information that I have.

But when it’s conversation I have to take into account what other people say, what new information they bring in, and incorporate it into my processes.

For me, it’s not about conclusion but about process. Conclusion is a finality which can be either a death or part of a larger process. I’d rather have a longer process that can capture more data (that might change the direction from a false into a more true direction) than to have a full-formed but incomplete conclusion which is missing important ingredients — like making raisin bread without the cinnamon. Sure you can eat it. It’s technically raisin bread but it’s not as proper as it could be.

[i’m pedantic too. One of the things I love about so many more people online is that I can find more awesomely pedantic people like me 🙂 ]

I wish they were that competent Jack. I really do.

I so hate the idea of data being lost that I’ve been backing up what I write in various ways and sharing it. I’ve seen *so much* of my own stuff just “disappear” from the ‘infinite web’. New politics changes data archive requirements, whether govt or business, and things disappear into nothing all of the time.

This is one of my backups but I have several scattered around in different forms.

Well that’s just wise in general 🙂 I don’t believe they do a decent job of archiving/tracking (*unless* they have some reason – although maybe they do). I don’t expect competence.

But just the same, I watch what I say because, even though everything’s run by the barely competent, nothing’s private either. So, it’d be silly to believe one has any sort of privacy online because no-privacy is built right into the internet itself.

Store and forward – except it’s “store and copy”. That’s how it works at the deepest levels.

So, it can never be fully private. Designed by idealist lefty folks down to the core

yup 🙂 Our conversation led me to a place I never expected to be, saying something I didn’t know I’d say that ended up sounding pretty good
