Muttering curses under your breath can’t hurt either.

You can also find the saddest song you know and play it in a safe place, cry until it hurts your throat – a lot of ppl do that. I haven’t done that in a long time but some swear by it.

I’ve often turned to poetry. Just start writing. Writing writing writing.

I find sad/depressed/empty –> anger/rage –> focus-on-a-complicated-task that’s at the limits of my abilities sometimes helps too.

Follow the Monomyth if in doubt. Figure out what stage you’re in and you can see where you’re headed next and work towards it. That’s more cerebral but it’s kind of project oriented. [doesn’t have to be life-journey monomyth – can be smaller one]

Get it out of your system here on INFJaded. Turn the emotions into words and stick with it until your emotion has turned to one you like better (like happy or ok), or until bored of the emotion – whichever comes first. Or you get tired and go to sleep. Sleep works great too.
