Mueller didn’t look at his tax returns. Why would he? Nothing in the report about it. Wasn’t his focus.
—
Random speculation. Mueller put everything in the report that they did. I saw it – it was at my public library two weeks after it came out and I flipped through for various questions I had. Zip about taxes. Not a single word.
=====
It’s not bordering on anything. Mueller was hired to do as LITTLE as possible and he did as LITTLE as possible as THOROUGHLY as possible as he could.
He’s a by-the-book guy. Extremely rare. You may find a Mueller type of person to be ridiculous – and it is a bit ridiculous that an anachronism such as he still exists – but it is what it is.

President Donald Trump nominated Rosenstein to serve as Deputy Attorney General for the United States Department of Justice on February 1, 2017.
Mueller was hired by a Trump appointee.
It’s not rocket science here.

Considering the constraints Mueller was under, he did an admirable job.
