Most definitely. I think the prototype is the Eton school and its copycats throughout the world. Whether unchecked “hazing” or the really bizarre ways they view girls and women (perhaps due to groupthink, likely encouraged/not discouragaged in a “lol boys will be boys right” atmosphere “snitches get stitches” — maybe it’s from growing up with 80s movies where the boarding school kids were always the bad kids, but looking at Brett Kavanaugh, etc, it sure seems to be a solid pattern
