Mechatronics? _How_ have I not heard of this? It doesn’t even sound real. Turns out my ‘new discovering’ of “bond graphing” (new to me) is invaluable for mechatronics as it crosses fields that are often treated separately such as physical, hydraulic and electric systems. Not a fan of the word and I always found the “one arm” stuck to the table model of a robot kind of weird. But, I love interdisciplinary stuff, particularly when it’s pragmatic and this is one of those things. It’s a copyrighted word in Japan but they allow anybody to use it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechatronics
