Maybe not everything has “ethnocentric coalition” written all over it but this certainly does. in all 3 countries it is positively patriotic to be anti china. it was before but with covid and the consequential bungling of the response by the Trump and Johnson regimes adding fuel to the “let’s replace chinese based 5G units with British backed 5G as patriotic duty”, Australia’s long known anti Chinese sentiment, you could TRY to find other reasons to justify why its “the Anglo world” vs “China” that turn a blond … spell check — blind eye to history, but even IF you’re tend to automatically believe that its probably anything EXCEPT racial – in this instance, the ethnocentricity of this sudden alliance (which has the EU concerned), its pretty obvious

i don’t even really care much that AUKUS is some anglocentric anti force EXCEPT where it affects domestic life.

no citizens of any of the three nations should be negatively impacted from this ethnocentric oxytocin festival but they are and will continue to be.

it is the domestic that is my concern.
