Stamoulis Charlotte County, Florida NOTICE is hereby given that the Florida Secretary of State has ordered a machine recount in the U.S. Senate race, Governor and Lieutenant Governor race and the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture race. The Charlotte County Canvassing Board will meet at 9:00 a.m. on November 12, 2018, to conduct that recount, and it will continue until completed. The recount will occur at the Supervisor of Elections office, 226 Taylor St. Punta Gorda, FL. 33950. The recount will be open to the public. Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at this recount they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
