Adultery is a far far far far far greater sin than homosexuality in Christianity. That’s a provable fact.
Homosexuality should be at approximately the same level as masturbation.

I was raised Methodist. After religious questing, I was in the Russian Orthodox church for a bit in my mid 20s for a few years. Even did some time in a monastery. I learned a lot about what they call “the passions” from the early Church Fathers, and it’s basically really good psychological advice from 1500 years ago as a whole.
Sin is “missing the mark”. Love is not sin.
And using love as a substitute word for “sexual relations” is really really bad form.
