I don’t think so. Jazz isn’t the only out there. Most don’t have TV shows or extensive support networks. I know personally a friend doing well with support. I hear others stories that are having an awful time of it.
For olders, knew a friend of the family (my mom grew up with her when she was he) and only came out in her mid 60s. Ended getting surgery – now in her 70s and was happy ever since.
Gender dysphoria is a crappy condition to have. I wouldn’t want it. They don’t either but luckily there’s at least SOMEthing they can do now.
