Nico Dominguez The confederate flag is difficult to justify in shared spaces.
Is there such a thing as “free speech” for users of a corporate space like Facebook? Well, technically, only Facebook / Meta has the free speech. We have “terms and conditions”
I first noticed in 2015, private companies widely stopping the sale or display of confederate flags in their respective shared corporate spaces but it likely started prior and certainly continues after through to this day.
So what you can do in your domicile doesn’t seem to apply much at all in shared spaces both public and private, solely on your own property – and even then, so long as it doesn’t go against community guidelines (such as HOAs etc)
