You can always learn something from the IRS. Since religious groups are tax-exempt and the IRS publishes EVERYBODY who is tax exempt… research is easy.
I’m _guessing_ their organization is:
“American Orthodox Catholic All Faiths Ecumenical Orthodox” of El Paso, Texas.
Talk about covering your bases.
I have a bit of Welsh in me. I’ll have to contact them to start a Welsh Orthodox Church but give it a Doctor Who theme, as Doctor Who has always had a tight bond with Wales as it’s cheap to film there and they make for great location shots.
Such a notion makes about as much sense as what they’re doing.
I wouldn’t even care as much except they’ve lifted the lingo of “last true” … then jumbled up some other strange notions… and are putting an Orthodox sticker on them for a further sense of authenticity for the unaware.
Honesty would go far. “We’re not connected. But we think we’re doing it right anyway” would at least be more honest. Also, there is a page on there extoling the great humility of their head. *sigh*
