Zero-tolerance is an absurdity.  It’s amazing to me that it has become
so wide-spread over the last few years.

In software engineering a few years back, there was an attempt at
“zero-defect” software.  But most programmers and management gave up
on it.  Why?

Because: Humans are defective and can’t produce a perfect product.

This goes for computer programming, and moreso for human behavior.

Zero tolerance: Insane!
