When I worked in office cubicle environment, I’d print out things daily and stick them in my cubibe, where passers-by would see.
I’d always have _some_ sort of Facebook-ish quip (except Facebook didn’t exist yet, or Twitter, but same idea) – that I’d make up that sounded good.
On occasion, when I thought someone needed to hear something, I’d post it, just like any other thing. I’d make a slight “cough” or drop a pen and reach down and get it, as they walked by and kept working without looking, making them pause for a split second, long enough to see it. They didn’t say anything, nor did I, but they glanced for a half second at the paper. Good enough for me.
Evil? Yes, I know.
