Kenneth Udut’s Search Pattern. He usually finds what he’s looking for.

search_patternHow I search for something I can’t find. I drew up that map on the left to answer a question. Basically, you go as far as you can, then stop. Then you find the biggest gap you can and go to the middle of that gap. Then you stop and look around. Then you go across the first line you made to the NEXT biggest gap you see. And stop. And look around. Keep repeating, always looking for the biggest gap you never looked at that’s as far away as you can easily get to. Eventually, you’ll find what you’re looking for. [and usually, it’s right NEXT to the place you started from tongue emoticon ] (or hiding in the far corner you *thought* you searched in already]
