John Tryon you’re right. and that the reason why people go in circles over this : trying to prove or disprove doesn’t get very far. People can gather evidence for whatever point of view they wish to share, but when people try to put strict logic to it usually ends up to be a waste of energy either way I think it was Calvinism that tried to make very strict proofs. And it only works up to a point. Or likely Carl Sagan quote above: he can make a little parable about dragons but that doesn’t get very far either
