John Tryon do you mean Alex Keaton the TV show? oh we are definitely the same age range 😂😂 oh this is amazing. I think I may have finally met my counterpart! to me, Alex Keaton was a lovable villain. his character was a few years older than me in the show : he was in high school while I was in middle school i think. (I think I am Ricky Schroeder’s age or close to it if I remember right -Silver Spoons 🥄) I always saw myself as a cross between the two parents, stuck in a world where the Alex Keatons were starting to gain control. Flash forward a few years, Wall Street which I never saw, I figured it was a story about villains in the children’s programming, I rooted for the ragtag kids against the evil logging company I saw Keaton as a future oil well driller, another villain archetype in my Schema I liked his character but he was dangerous behind that charm in a way that he would sell his parents up the river if he needed to and I didn’t see that as virtuous
