Jobs economy is doomed anyway. Tying your whole existence around “job” has been failing for a long time. Efforts to convince people to “have a trade instead” might stall things for a few more years but not that many more. Curtain’s falling on capitalism. I’m no radical. I never thought I’d see it. But I’m watching it in real time. It’s mindblowing.

The fragility of capitalism during the Coronavirus really got me.

How robust is that invisible hand anyway? Not at all. Stop “being busy” for just a few days and things start falling apart rapidly. Where’s the backup systems? The redundancy? The robustness of this invisible system that is self-correcting based on needs?

It ain’t there. Empty. Vacuum.

I’m blown away.
