Jack Sinclair what I love about this phenomenon is how sneaky it really is.
For some really obvious: people’s interpret the universe through the lens that they are most familiar, so for example there’s no surprise if for Richard Dawkins the tree of life and the memetics is everything for him.
Or if somebody spend their lifetime in mathematics, I will see the universe as made of mathematics.
But then it gets a little tougher because we use reasoning very often for puzzling things out and usually we put logic at the base of reasoning.
So the “universe is built on logic” is a type of language or technology-of-thought (it is procedural) that’s hard to escape from yet it falls exactly into this
