I’ve spent 3+ days obsessing over vectorizing Pather Panchali (1955, India) in as many different ways I could, trying to understand the processes going on, all from seeing 5 mins of it and being amazed at the cinematography. My favorite is a super abstract one where you SHOULDN’T even have enough information to know what’s going on and yet, it’s possible to see “Oh, that’s an old woman hunched over, turning and walking”.
