I’ve read complaints by math professors through the years about 18 year old college students freshly discovering Category Theory, pouring into it heavily and then poo-pooing their course, declaring that Category Theory gives them all the answers they need. But because the professor hadn’t taught them the things that Category Theory does not do and can’t do yet, there was no way of getting through to those students.
