I’ve never found a church body that “fit me fit me” as it were; although I felt at home several times in a community way.

a) staying in an Orthodox monastery for a little while felt very much ‘at home’
b) when investigating the Catholic church prior to the Orthodox, I’d hang out with the priests-in-training and felt a kinship to them; they looked so scared but really wanting to be good
c) anytime I was with Unitarians or Quakers
d) camping groups but I was a kid. Still I liked it.
There’s others but I’d say I’ve had that experience of being-a-part-of a few times.
Usually though, when I’m feeling a-part-of it’s only because I am serving a somewhat unique role or leadership role, which is distinct from feeling like “one of the crowd”, which I’ve felt less often but sometimes.
