I’ve never felt a shred of guilt for slavery. I have no idea why guilt is even mentioned in any of these things. But there’s historical facts. There’s reasons for teaching things certain ways. There’s reasons for not teaching things certain ways. All this “yeah well what about THEM?” I just don’t understand. Things happened.
