I’ve heard it said “You can’t read words in your dreams” but that’s not true; I was reading somebody’s wobbly script handwriting in a dream this morning. Of course it didn’t look like their handwriting; it looked like MY wobbly script handwriting but nonetheless, I’d picked it up and I was reading it like I normally do, alternating between left to right and scanning the whole page for keywords, then bottom bit, then back to where I was in the left to right – my weird reading pattern – but I was reading it. I then picked it up to bring it in to show when I realized, “Wait, this isn’t real is it? You’re dreaming.” and then I woke up – kind of glad too because I had a broken floor lamp in the dream and I didn’t want that lamp broken; i like that lamp.
