I’ve had to explain that “ok boomer” has an entirely different meaning to GenZ than it does to Millennials and I’m X.

My answer and I’m sticking to it for now. Two meanings, one for millennials, who are endlessly warring with boomers who endlessly war with them, and another for Z, who mostly could care less about the whole generational-by-age thing and instead use meme usage, video game and fandom enthusiasms to designate generations.

So my 14 yr old nephew says “ok boomer” to somebody who unironically posts a political meme as Z is not political in the way that millennials are, etc. Many shared memes but millennial age is unironically political, Z age is ironically political, etc.

I was addicted to Vine for 3 years. That was 6 seconds. Made 15,000 Vines.

I tried migrating to musically, which was bought out by TikTok (because they did exactly the same thing) and put a few things up there, got a bunch of followers… but I never did the lipsyncing thing.

There’s a lot of comedy on there though now – and a lot of cursing and PG-11 naughty but nothing all that awful.
