It’s valid criticism. If all parties could review all evidence that would make it fair. But being able to rehearse and change testimony to custom-fit the footage automatically gives a leg up against those without access to that additional evidence. The problem isn’t the existence of police cams. I think everybody wants those. The article title is *very* misleading. The issue is automatic extra credibility. If the cops had to use their own accounts, JUST LIKE the defendants do, it would be a far court case.
