It’s true though. I know the excuses: We’re big and have a lot of territory, etc. But America operates as shells within shells, layers and layers of bureaucracy, borough, city, county, state, federal, so it’s certainly technically possible to NOT be underdeveloped even with the large span of people filled land to cover.
But we abdicate responsibility and let corporations set up district/territory and serve as they feel is most profitable. It’s how America’s currently set up although it wasn’t always.
