It’s the difference between understanding the ‘how’ and then visualizing it happening at present.

I mean, I was aware of the read/write and the logic functions… I just never really THOUGHT about it and imagined the process as it happens before.

It’s the smallness. I’ve always taken it for granted. No big deal. They made it smaller. But then I imagined trying to do it myself. How small would those wires BE?

They couldn’t.

They transferred the logic to electrons and electron holes.

Then I imagined working with a microscope trying to manipulate electrons and electron ‘holes’. That’s when my mind went Pfffft because I could see the logic as it’s happening on all the bits on my computer memory as electrons just for a moment.

It’s the difference between understanding the ‘how’ and then visualizing it happening at present.
