It’s such a good thing that the US Govt spent millions to train school staff police, school staff, local EMS, CERT and kids first aid for gunshot wounds. I was wrong. I thought nothing was being done. Nationwide tourniquet training. I’m all for First Aid for natural disasters. Mass produced Entry/Exit Wound Kits distributed to thousands of schools though is not in response to a natural disaster but something entirely unique.

For your next school shooting or mass shooting event, be prepared by knowing how to use Entry/Exit Wound kits. Kids! You too can #StopTheBleed

=====

School districts across the USA are adding #StopTheBleed to their staff and for the police stationed at their schools.

This is for when THEIR school shooting happens so they can be prepared. Sounds normal for anywhere in the world right? Entry/Exit Wound kits?

“So, Your Best Friend Was Gunned Down At Your School” pamphlets available at the Nurses’ Station.

====

Look at #StopTheBleed, a program for tourniquet training for kids in schools and their police support staff and admin. It got federal funding.

Includes training in use of Entry/Exit Wound kits.

That’s their solution.
