it’s *possible* to comprehend the ‘gist’ of difficult concepts by moving out of one realm and into another.

Well, I only had 10 minutes to try to pull a difficult set of concepts out of the context of philosophy and put it into a mathematical context while providing enough information to follow the chain, without using a whole lot of words.

But the main point I was trying to bring up, for Omar Kusturica ‘s sake, is that it’s *possible* to comprehend the ‘gist’ of difficult concepts by moving out of one realm and into another. Even if the analogies aren’t perfect, it doesn’t keep them from being useful, as long as one remembers its an analogy of course and not ‘the thing itself’. smile emoticon
