Its one of the things I love about the flexibility of language honestly: it’s not mathematical.

Well, there’s always ways around that. smile emoticon I could be a bachelor as in someone who got a bachelor’s degree (ok, uncommon usage). Or a “bachelor for Christ” (if that exists) in a religious context, who is legally unmarried yet spiritually married, etc.

Or someone who ‘considers himself” a bachelor, even though once married: or someone who takes off their ring to go to Las Vegas and is a bachelor for the weekend to have a few flings.

Its one of the things I love about the flexibility of language honestly: it’s not mathematical.
