It’s not “These other five sensors instead of vision” – it’s “vision + these other five sensors”.
Object detection under low light conditions is still not quite there and might never be for example, which is why you need to go to infrared for example.
Insisting upon human-only vision range remains a very odd choice to me
It will be subject to the same illusion defects that humans suffer from.

For example: we use auditory clues. We use tactile clues. We use sense of self-in-space clues. We use temperature clues.
