If it makes you happy to criticize protesters, go ahead. I look at it this way: They got a beef, they’re protesting in one of the few places where it’s allowed by law. It’s not my protest – it’s their protest. It was well organized, nobody got arrested, and it sets a good standard for how protests should operate.
There’s not many places in the world where protests are protected by police. It’s one of the things that makes America great already : we can do this kind of stuff here.
In Russia, they get whipped.
n Russia, protesters get whipped. Saudi Arabia they get executed. Also to note:
The protesters aren’t living in Russia.
The protesters aren’t living in Saudi Arabia.
Yet people donate money to organizations that support women’s rights and there’s support for those on the inside that are fighting underground, trying not to get their heads chopped off.
But really: If they got on planes to go over to Saudi Arabia to protest, you’d be posting a meme about how stupid they are for doing that.
Safest, closest place to protest Saudi Arabia’s treatment of women would probably be India.
