It’s not a bad model; not at all. But what it reduces to ultimately, I don’t think is reflective of reality.

It’s very good, although my quibbles are more semantic than anything, for while I find statistical models useful for certain things, a statistical or probability basis for everything isn’t something that resonates with me.

It’s a useful abstraction for certain purposes, but even the level of ‘benefit’ all has a level of Adam Smith economic “Rational Man” quality to it, embedded within the later developments of evolutionary theory and strengthening of the force of statistical modelling as-ultimate-basis in the early part of the 20th century.

It’s not a bad model; not at all. But what it reduces to ultimately, I don’t think is reflective of reality.

But its not bad though.
