Fair enough. Still, the flow of the language produced an image of pure, undifferentiated energy that suddenly strikes a prism where there is differentiation and the color beams enter rooms full of mirrors, mazes and complexities… or a tree going through a wood chipper.

You don’t need to explain it if you do not wish to do so. But #9 stopped the whole thing dead for me as I wasn’t ready to go into the chipper without a little more explanation. But I can research on my own if you like. I just like giving you first dibs.
